Happy New Month!!!!!! yaaaaaaas!!
In case you are wondering why I’m so excited, it’s March and it’s my month!! Happy Ash Wednesday to my fellow Catholics.
For most cooperate workers, I’ve noticed ladies are always trying to play safe when it comes to work outfits. It’s mostly simple skirts and shirts or just boring outfits in general. I have decided to show how you can pair a wide leg pant and a statement top while still maintaining the minimal work dress code.
For those of you who might be a bit over the super skinny skirts and pants trends, well I have good news for you. Wide leg pants, otherwise known as palazzo are swooshing onto street style and work style blogs everywhere. They are flattering on everyone. They are fun to wear, comfortable and they highlight and minimize the female form in pretty much all the right places. Seriously there are one million ways to style a wide leg pant, but for the purpose of my outfit today, I decided to keep it classy, simple and chic.
Black and white are always the best colours for work, so I styled this simple white wide leg pant from missguided with an off shoulder ruffled up top from next for a statement look ( I always look out for details in my outfits, just so I can stand out from the crowd, lol). Then I completed my look with a simple nude sandals from justfab to give the entire outfit a simple but chic look. If you have noticed, I’m not really an accessory person, I can go a whole year with just one black handbag lol. I just don’t see the need for so many accessories, but for the sake of my blog, I,m going to try to incorporate more accessories. So, just in case you want to carry a bag, any colour of bag can go with this look, most especially, black, nude or white. A good simple nice necklace or choker can also add more statement to the look.
I hope you enjoy watching the pictures and until next time, thanks for stopping by!!!
